Lomdogs has recently partnered with The Medical Pantry, an Australian charity that redistributes surplus medical supplies to organisations that need them.
Through this partnership, our veterinary team will have access to essential supplies to help treat injured and sick street dogs in South Lombok, as well as support our ongoing CNVR work.
The supplies are available in Australia, but we need help getting them to Lombok.
If you're travelling from Australia to Lombok and have some spare space in your luggage, you could help us bring them over.
What are the supplies?
Our veterinary team responds to emergency reports involving injured and sick street dogs, while also carrying out CNVR to help manage the street dog population in South Lombok.
The supplies provided through The Medical Pantry can help with things such as:
Wound care
Dressings and gauze
Syringes and needles
Sutures
Gloves
IV equipment
Other veterinary and medical supplies
The exact supplies available will vary depending on what The Medical Pantry has available.
No cost to you
The medical supplies are provided at no cost to you.
All you need to provide is some available luggage space and bring the supplies with you to Lombok.
How it works
Get in touch
Tell us where you're travelling from in Australia, your travel details and when you'll be arriving in Lombok.
Get your supplies
If you're based in Sydney, The Medical Pantry will arrange to get the supplies to you.
If you're elsewhere in Australia, we'll organise for the supplies to be shipped to your address.
Bring them to Lombok
Bring the supplies with you as part of your luggage and hand them over to the Lomdogs team when you arrive.
Documentation provided
The Medical Pantry has extensive experience sending medical supplies internationally and has supported similar shipments many times before.
They provide the necessary documentation for you to travel with the supplies and guide you through the process, so you'll have everything you need before you travel.

Lomdogs is a small, donation-funded organisation working with limited resources.
Our veterinary team responds to emergency cases involving injured and sick street dogs, while also carrying out CNVR in Kuta and the surrounding areas.
Medical supplies are an essential part of this work, but getting specialist supplies to Lombok can be difficult and expensive.
By bringing donated supplies with you, you can help us get more of the resources our veterinary team needs without taking money away from our other work.
