Volunteer with Lomdogs
Whether you're in Lombok or supporting us from elsewhere, there are different ways you can use your time and skills to help street dogs across South Lombok.
From feeding dogs on the streets to helping with creative and practical projects, every contribution helps us continue our work.
Help feed street dogs in South Lombok
Street feeding is a self-guided volunteer activity. We'll provide the dog food and a map with pinned locations showing where dogs can be found. You simply collect the food, follow the route and feed the dogs along the way.
How it works
Collect the food
Pick up the dog food from our collection point in Kuta.
Follow the map
Use the map we provide to find the dogs along your assigned route.
Feed the dogs
Follow our feeding guidelines and make sure to clean up any leftover food or rubbish before you leave.
Report any concerns
If you noticed a dog who appears injured, sick or in need of help, let us know.

No previous experience is required, and there is no minimum commitment.
€10 contribution
A one-off €10 donation is required to help cover the operational costs of the programme.
We'll provide the food, mapped route, feeding guidelines and safety information. You simply collect the food and head out to feed the dogs.
Have a skill you could put to use?
We also welcome volunteers who have skills or experience that could help Lomdogs.
This could include photography, videography, graphic design, web design, social media, fundraising, administration, dog training, dog behaviour, or other practical skills.
Projects can be based in Lombok or, where possible, done remotely. What you work on will depend on your skills and what Lomdogs needs at the time.
Minimum commitment: 2 weeks.
There is no volunteer fee for this role. Volunteers are responsible for arranging their own accommodation and covering their own food, transport and other expenses while in Lombok. We do not provide accommodation or food.

I've had the chance to learn so much, not only about working with dogs, but also about responsibility, teamwork, and the impact you can make by simply showing up and helping.
The dogs are adorable, and the whole team is kind, supportive, and always available if you need help. I highly recommend it, especially if you love dogs!
