WHAT WE DO
CNVR (Capture, Neuter, Vaccinate and Return)
There are already large numbers of street dogs across Lombok, and simply rescuing dogs or finding homes for puppies cannot solve the problem.
CNVR is an important part of humane, long-term dog population management.
We carry out CNVR by area, focusing on groups of dogs living in the same communities. Our veterinary team uses a mobile setup so dogs can be treated close to where they live.
Many street dogs are fearful and difficult to handle, so sedation may be used when necessary to safely capture and treat them.
Once they have recovered, the dogs are returned to their original area.
By preventing unwanted litters and vaccinating dogs at the same time, CNVR helps reduce population growth while improving the health and welfare of dogs already living on the streets.
The more dogs we can sterilise, the fewer puppies are born into life on the streets.
Emergency Medical Care
Every day, we receive reports of dogs who are injured, sick or in need of urgent medical care on the streets.
Our team assesses each report and prioritises cases based on the dog's condition, location and the resources available to us at the time. Where possible, our team goes out to find and treat the dog.
Many street dogs are too fearful to be handled, so we use sedation when necessary to safely assess and treat their injuries.
What we do:
Respond to reports of injured or sick dogs
Provide treatment on-site whenever possible
Transport serious cases to our shelter
Carry out surgery, wound care and ongoing treatment
Return dogs to their original area once they have recovered
We only keep dogs at the shelter if they cannot safely return to their original location, for example because of a severe disability or because it is no longer safe to return them.
This helps us respond quickly and treat as many dogs as we can with the resources available to us.

Shelter & Care
Not every dog can return to the streets.
Most dogs we treat are released back to the area where they were found. But some are too vulnerable to live safely on their own. These are the dogs who stay with us.
Our shelter provides a safe home for dogs who cannot return to the streets. We are continuing to expand and improve our facilities so we can provide better care for the dogs who need to stay with us, as well as dogs who need a safe place to recover after treatment.
Our plans include more space for our resident dogs, a dedicated puppy area, facilities for dogs with disabilities and special needs, and an on-site clinic with dedicated recovery spaces for dogs receiving treatment.

Adoption
Some of the dogs we rescue cannot return to the streets. Once they are ready for adoption, we look for safe, committed homes where they can settle into life as part of a family.
Every dog is different. Some are confident and social, while others need more time, patience and a quieter home. We get to know each dog as well as we can, so we can help find the right match.
We facilitate both local and international adoptions.

For international adoptions, dogs must be at least 7 months old and complete the required travel preparations before they can fly. The travel preparation process usually takes around four months.

Adoption changes a dog’s life, but it is a long-term commitment. We want every dog to go to a home that is right for them.
