WHAT WE DO
From emergency medical care and CNVR to shelter and adoption, we work to improve the lives of street dogs in Kuta and the surrounding areas of South Lombok.
CNVR (Capture, Neuter, Vaccinate, Return)
Street dogs are born every year in Kuta and the surrounding areas. Our CNVR programme helps prevent unwanted litters and improves the health and welfare of dogs already living on the streets.
We carry out sterilisation campaigns in the areas where the dogs live. Many street dogs are very fearful of people, so when necessary, our team uses humane darting methods to safely sedate them before handling.
How it works:
Dogs are safely sedated when needed
They are taken a short distance to our mobile surgical setup
Our veterinary team sterilises and vaccinates them
Once recovered, they are returned to the area where they were found
This allows dogs to stay in their familiar territory, while helping reduce the number of unwanted puppies born on the streets.

Emergency Medical Care
Every day, we receive reports of dogs who are injured, sick or in need of urgent medical care on the streets.
Our team goes out to find them.
Many street dogs are too fearful to be handled, so we use sedation when necessary to safely assess and treat their injuries.
What we do:
Respond to reports of injured or sick dogs
Provide treatment on-site whenever possible
Transport serious cases to our shelter
Carry out surgery, wound care and ongoing treatment
Return dogs to their original area once they have recovered
We only keep dogs at the shelter if they cannot safely return to the streets, for example because of a severe disability or danger in their original location.
This helps us respond quickly and treat as many dogs as we can with the resources available.

Shelter & Care
Not every dog can return to the streets.
Most dogs we treat are released back to the area where they were found. But some are too vulnerable to live safely on their own. These are the dogs who stay with us.
Our current shelter is simple and has limited space. It gives dogs a safe place to stay, but we are working towards better facilities for dogs with more complex needs.
We are fundraising to build a larger, improved shelter with an on-site clinic and dedicated space for disabled dogs. This would give us more room for treatment, recovery and long-term care.
What we provide:
A safe place for dogs who cannot return to the streets
Ongoing care for injuries, disabilities and long-term conditions
Daily feeding, monitoring and support
A secure environment for dogs needing extra care
More space and better facilities would help us care for dogs who need to stay with us long-term.

Adoption
Some of the dogs we rescue cannot return to the streets. When they are ready, we look for safe, committed homes where they can settle into life as part of a family.
Every dog is different. Some are confident and social, while others need more time, patience and a quieter home. We get to know each dog as well as we can, so we can help find the right match.
We facilitate both local and international adoptions.
What adoption gives a dog:
A safe and permanent home

Time to adjust at their own pace
The chance to be valued as an individual, not just another street dog
For international adoptions, dogs must be at least 7 months old and complete the required travel preparations before they can fly. This process usually takes around six months.

Adoption changes a dog’s life, but it is a long-term commitment. We want every dog to go to a home that is right for them.
Education & Community Outreach
Lasting change does not happen without people.
We work within local communities to build understanding, compassion, and responsibility towards street dogs. Education is a key part of reducing suffering in the long term.
By engaging with local residents, we aim to change how dogs are treated and prevent future harm before it happens.

Supporting community understanding of sterilisation
Encouraging safer, more compassionate interactions with dogs
Building long-term change through education
This work may be less visible, but it is essential. Every conversation and every shift in attitude helps create a safer future for street dogs.
